Re: Revlimid & itchy scalp - nothing seems to help
I've been on Revlimid for about 4 months. In the first 4-6 weeks, I had a full body shedding of skin that started with a rather dramatic rash. Though a bit scary, it went away, and then my skin just stayed a good deal drier than normal. I was experiencing this itchy scalp reported here for a couple of weeks just recently. I started using Head & Shoulders 2-in-1 Dry Scalp (the original formula) and the itching went right away.

Re: Revlimid & itchy scalp - nothing seems to help
I've been taking Revlimid for nearly 4 years now and have the same problems with dry, itchy, and flaky scalp. Also my skin gets very dry at times, as some kind of red rash develops in my face and neck that sometimes last for several days. My oncologists are telling me that this is in fact a very common side effect of Revlimid.

For the scalp, try rubbing a few drops of argan oil in to your scalp when wet after a shower.

In addition to any of the above remedies, you could try an anti-dandruff shampoo. That helped me, and the itch was only a temporary problem anyways.

Re: Revlimid & itchy scalp - nothing seems to help
Baby shampoo mixed with a few drops of tea tree oil worked for me. About 7 drops of oil with 25ml shampoo. After scalp healed continued to use just baby shampoo.

My doctor just recommended 25 mg of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) every 6 hours for a few days. Nurse also told me that stress causes increases of all side effects.
