Hi,
I am trying to collect some information about Revlimid maintenance. I would like to know if people who are currently taking Revlimid maintenance have maintained their remission post transplant. Also, what dose and dosing schedule are they on? Thanks for the information!

Thanks Beacon Staff. I am interested mainly in finding out how long it helped people STAY in remission after transplant.

Hi Blair,
Here are the summary results the Beacon provided of 3 major trials with regard to Revlimid maintenance. You should rely on peer reviewed studies like these with respect to clinical benefit/toxicities since Revlimid maintenance has been the subject of multiple large studies as opposed to the experience of a few patients in forums.

These trials are updated as more data becomes available.

The article Mark mentions is the one that we usually point people to for a thorough introduction to the three major studies that have been done about Revlimid maintenance. (Thanks Mark!)
As Mark notes, however, the studies are regularly updated, so it's worth checking the Beacon's topic (tag) page related to maintenance for the most recent updates:
https://myelomabeacon.org/tag/maintenance-therapy/
For example, there were updates about the studies presented at the ASH annual meeting this past December (see this ASH preview article as well as this report about a key maintenance-related session during the ASH meeting), and earlier in the year at the biennial IMW meeting (related article).
Just as a reminder to all Beacon readers, a list of useful Beacon topic (tag) pages is included at the top of the Beacon's news page. You can also find the tags associated with every article the Beacon publishes listed at the bottom of the article, which can take you other articles which may be related.

Re: Revlimid for maintenance post stem cell transplant
Blair I think in looking through the posts here you will find that there is no set answer.
I was in remission for 3 1/2 years after my SCT without any maintenance. You will find others who have a much shorter period in spite of maintenance.
