Re: Revlimid and blood clots

I also developed dual partial occlusions in my right calf approximately 5 weeks into my RVD (Revlimid, Velcade, dex) treatments (25 mg Revlimid) earlier this year. I was also mostly bed-ridden at the time, and I had been sleeping with my left leg crossed under my right leg. Since then, I have taken daily Lovenox shots, approximately 7 months now. I also am closer to normal activity levels and sleep in a different position.

I am currently not on Revlimid, but expect to go back onto it in the next few weeks as I start maintenance treatment post-SCT. Hopefully I won't have any more issues!

Thanks for responding jglopic, Al-Nawas and hopeful27. It's really helpful to hear the variety of experiences and it sounds like everyone's clotting issues are under control. Best wishes to all for continued good health!
