There have been isolated cases of patients taking Revlimid developing a severe skin disorder known as Stevens-Johnson syndrome. That's why doctors want to know if you develop a rash while taking Revlimid and why they often won't recommend continuing Revlimid treatment if the rash can't be controlled.
Word of advice: Don't look up and read information about Stevens-Johnson syndrome if you're not a fan of graphic medical photos. It's not a pretty disease.
