Yes, many refuse to accept any thing other then the standard therapy for cancer, radiation, surgery, and chemo.

Quackwatch I am sure is not run by some one that does not have a bias view, surely not.

If you read posts from his former patients they all praise him for saving their lives.

But, understand, he does not claim to cure nor does he claim a 100% success rate. Especially when you are sent home and he can not force any one to follow his protocols.

But the ones that do, do get well. Once the body knows how to make cancer it can easily do it again so I will be on the pancreas enzymes the rest of my life, but that is ok if the rest of my life is another 40 or 50 years. :)
I just find it amazing my blood work has improved WITH OUT DRUGS.

From what I understand he wants to make the enzymes he uses available to others but he is concerned people with cancer will try to use them to heal on their own and he believes all cancer patients need to be under a doctor's care, and I agree. He does not just use the enzymes, there is more to the protocol and if you don't do it all it won't work.

And you know there would be people with cancer that would buy the enzymes and never go to a doctor.

I will update.

Hello dee777,

I just found your discussion about protelytic enzyme therapy and the Dr. Gonzalez protocol on the forum and I am thrilled :) ! I've been searching for somebody with experience with this protocol on various multiple myeloma blogs and forums for a while.

I'm the caretaker of my ex-husband who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last July and while his hematologist was putting him on several cycles of thalidomide/dexamethasone and some rounds of Zometa, I have been researching intensively about alternatives on the Internet as he is not happy at all about the chemo.

I've come across Dr. Kelley and the Metabolic Institute as well as Dr. Gonzalez and we resonate very much with what they say and their approach. We are in Costa Rica which makes it difficult economically as well as because of travelling to the US to engage in a direct treatment with Dr. Gonzalez. But we want to do it as soon as we can manage.

Meanwhile we have started with pancreatic enzymes (the brand from Germany), other supplements, a strictly organic diet according to his metabolism, and lots of juicing, on our own. I agree with you that it would be strongly advised to do this rather under the guidance of a professional like you are doing. But we do not have access to this right now.

All I can say is that he feels so much stronger with a lot more energy and he just looks vibrant. No pain, and his blood test and 24-hour urine tests have improved amazingly to the point to be almost normal. Waiting now on other test results and seeing his hematologist again in March with more tests and another bone marrow aspiration.

We would be very much interested to communicate more with you and share experiences.

Wishing you all the best and abundant blessings!

MMau58,

I can't really help with diet and supplements other then to say Dr. Gonzalez has found multiple myeloma patients do better with meat diet. Some patients are on a diet of red meat 5 times a week, I eat it 1-2 times a day. We do better with lots of animal fats too. The supplements are individualized along with diet. He does a hair analysis to find the right diet and supplements so I can't advise on the correct diet or supplements.

He use to used these pancreatic enzymes till he perfected his own: "Nutricology / Allergy Research Group Natural Glandular Pancreas Pork"

I do the coffee enemas 2 in a row twice a day with organic enema coffee.

Juice every day carrots with apple, beets when they are in season.

No sugar or white flour.

I think the enzymes are the answer to this disease and I know in they are incorporating them in cancer treatment in other countries, we are behind and will be as long as pharmaceutical companies are in control.

Hello dee777,

Sorry, it has taken me a while to get back to you and thank you for your response.

I completely understand that you can't go into very much detail of your specific diet and supplements plan with Dr. Gonzalez since it is really highly individual. No problem! But do you know anything about his experience so far with more Multiple Myeloma patients? I mean case studies, response to treatment on longer term? We are just curious.

Yes, the proteolytic enzymes are the key component. And M. is also doing coffee enemas since he started with the enzymes. No sugar and white flour as well. The daily juices he makes are almost always part carrot and adding either beets, and/or cucumber and spinach or celery. We don't have access to organically grown apples here in Costa Rica. There is one juice every 8 days totally made of greens, like kale, celery, spinach, a bit of dandelion, a bit of romaine and lemons which supposed to be highly detox.

But I would mention one more thing which I consider as essential and what many patients forget since one is so focused on the treatment on the physical level, and that is how we, patient and caregiver and close family members, cope with this diagnosis emotionally and spiritually. Instead of getting depressed or freaking out (which is of course also very understandable), what is the meaning of such a diagnosis for each one? Which challenges and which opportunities for growth does it present to each one?

Maybe this is not the place to post such questions, and maybe yes. All what I wish is that it might serve as an inspiration for some.

Thanks again!

Greetings!

Can anyone on this thread taking the enzymes give an update? I had taken some of the WobEnzyme N but stopped awaiting more studies.

Thanks and best to you! BN
