My mom had a stem cell transplant in July 2012 and she has been doing great! However at her appointment with her internal med doctor yesterday they found protein in her urine as well as a little blood. The blood in the urine could be a bladder infection, but she doesnt feel like she has a bladder infection. She is going for a bone marrow biopsy this Thursday and will also need to see a kidney specialist.
Is this normal? The myloma wouldnt come back this soon?
Has anyone experienced this?
