Yesterday I posted in this forum without registering, but I'm not sure if the post was successfully submitted, as it's not appearing. Are all posts approved before they're published?
I just wanted to check, so I know whether to post again or not.

Sorry, but we don't have any record of your having submitted a posting yesterday or any other time recently.
This forum is moderated; all postings are reviewed. It is rare, however, that the moderation will lead to a posting being removed completely. When that happens, it's usually because the posting is a fairly clear violation of our Terms of Service.
Postings are sometimes moved from one part of the forum to another, or their subject lines will be edited to make the topic clearer to the Beacon's readers and/or easier to find when searching for forum discussions.
So, as an unregistered user, you may want to check if this has occurred with a posting you've made before concluding that it's been deleted. (Registered users can always review the postings they have made -- to check if any have been moved or re-titled -- by going to their profile page and, in the Statistics section, clicking on the "Search user’s posts" link.)
