Everyone is different as we know all too well. After some other treatments that eventually stopped working, I have been on Darzalex along with dexamethasone for about 12 weeks. I finished 8 weeks of weekly infusions and have had the first of 8 every-other-week treatments. This drug is working for me without any side effects. The Revlimid I took for a short time gave me so many side effects, including extreme edema, that we had to stop.

I expected the worst from Darzalex, but it has been almost a miracle. I hope it continues to knock down my lambda light chains but the best of all for me is that I am suffering from no side effects at all except some fatigue.

I trust my oncologist to lead me in the right direction. Talk honestly with your doctor about your concerns and see if they can be allayed. Good luck.

Dear Barbara,

Today I started my first Darzalex treatment. I have thought about this some more, and the encouragement concerning Darzalex I found on this thread, along with my oncologist's arguments, have convinced me to toss the horseshoe one more time.

Thank you very much for contributing to that. In my case, I will be taking Darzalex with Kyprolis and dex.

I hope your positive Darzalex journey continues for a very, very long time.

Thanks again!

Good luck Mr. PH! Is this cocktail being prescribed off-label or are you part of a clinical trial? Please keep us up to date from time to time with how your numbers and painful bones respond and any side effects you might experience with this cocktail. Again, wishing you success.

Thank you very much, Multibilly.

This is an off-label regimen, and I do plan to provide updates on pain levels, lab results, and side effects.
