How are those on Pomalyst, Cytoxan, and dex doing? I am starting my second cycle and it has been more difficult than the first round. Results so far are good, but the side effects have been more noticeable this time around. Fatigue and nausea have been the biggest problem so far.
I would be curious to hear how others using this regimen are faring.

Re: Pomalyst, Cytoxan, and dex side effects?
Hi Richard,
I haven't been on pomalidomide, but I found a good way to avoid nausea from oral Cytoxan (I was on CyBorD). I would take a single ondasetron (Zofran). Then, 30 minutes later, I would eat a third of a package of mashed potatoes as a buffer. Then I would take my 11 Cytoxan tablets with a big glass of water. This really kept the nausea to a minimum.
I did it for 3 out of 4 weeks for 8 months.
Best,
Katie

Re: Pomalyst, Cytoxan, and dex side effects?
Cytoxan made me sick, so the doc decided against it. I have been on Pomalyst 4 mg and dex for 5 cycles. Results have been good, as my lambda has come down considerably, but the side effects are really rough - mainly fatigue
