Often times in multiple myeloma, there are high %s of impact to plasma cells. If you read many testimonies, you will see that several people were at 25%+ at diagnosis. The % will hopefully be better after treatment.

Hi Anil,

My husband had 83% at his first BMB when he was first diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago. Now he's scheduled for another BMB to see if any remains, because no M-protein can be detected in his labs any more. LadyLib is right, the numbers quite often improve after receiving treatment and it can be quite dramatic!

I hope your father's treatment goes well for him.

Chris
