Peripheral Neuropathy = Mickey Mouse hands?

by alaskanmeg on Wed Jul 25, 2012 6:01 pm

My hands from the wrist down feel like they are bloated. Thought about my diet, no excess salt. They don't look bloated. Best way for me to describe it is Mickey Mouse hands. Is this the beginning of my neuropathy perchance?

I have what sounds like a similar feeling in my hands. I feel like the the skin is too tight and my hands are very hot. Other people comment on how hot my hands are. I have the same in my feet.

Went for the Velcade shot yesterday and the ANP gave the name of a few suppliments to try.
L-Carnitine: 1,000mg three times a day. (They are HUGE pills) and are pretty expensive.
B Complex: Take one a day
plus I am already taking a multivitamin with iron.
other options where

L-Glutamine: Take 30grams (30,000 gm) per day. This can be taken as 10g three times a day or 15 g twice a day.

Vitamin E: Can be taken additionally if others are not helping. If needed take 400mg once a day.
