What I wanted to post there was: It might be worth your while to publish a few links to forum posts that illicited that new rule. I, for instance, am unclear as to whether my yesterday post about myeloma speed ( https://myelomabeacon.org/forum/does-myeloma-present-different-speeds-t460.html ) would qualify as 'breaking' that advisory..

Just pointing out that it is not possible for general users to start a new thread or, as requested by the writer of the above post, to reply on that particular forum subsection

Re: per "Getting Answers To Medical Questions"
Hi Snip,
Thanks for the heads up regarding the problem with replying to the "Getting Answers to Medical Questions" posting. We weren't aware of it, and we're looking into it.
The posting you mentioned was fine. Sure, the question you asked is probably best answered by someone with a lot of medical experience, but it's generally of interest to all of the site's visitors, and also something that many visitors can comment on (as Mattias ably demonstrated!).
Generally, if there's an issue of any kind with a posting, we'll either edit it or, if the issue is severe, delete it. In most cases, we'll also contact the author of the posting to let them know the edit was done and why it was done.

Great... thanks for the reply, and I'm glad I didn't break *that* rule
