Pain after prednisolone / prednisone dose reduction

Would love some feedback from other members about their experience with coming off prednisolone / prednisone.

My regimen started 6 months ago, 50 mg per day, then 50 mg alternating with 25 mg. Now I am 50 mg alternating with none.

I am concerned, only changed this week, and I noticed the first day I went without my prednisolone, within 12 hours my back pain was worse! Could this be due to withdrawal?

I have read you get pain etc, when coming off the medication, but it seems to be very quick.

Will be seeing my new oncologist on Thursday, and talk to him, but I am concerned that I have started to get back and rib pain again. Coincidence?
