PAC-MED chemotherapy
Has anyone undergone this treatment and if so can you give us a sense of what to expect?
Re: PAC-MED chemotherapy
PACMED therapy is a multiple agent therapeutic regimen being studied a UAMS for advanced high risk relapsed multiple myeloma. I only have read about it and have no experience using this multiagent combination (ASH 2010 Abstract 1969- Alsayed et al.).
It involves cisplatin, cytarabine, cyclophosphamide, mesna, etoposide and dex. Additional agents include bortezomib, thalidomide or lenalidomide and rapamycin. Hopefully, one of our Beacon followers from the UAMS will comment on this regimen.
We wish you the best of luck and sorry that I cannot give you more information.
