Our Story
Dave and I were in a coast to coast relocation from the east to the west, when while working at his new job he went into the hospital via ambulance with a compression fracture in his T8 vertebrae. While there is never a good time really to have cancer, it sure did seem like there are worse times! That was June 2008 and now we are through tandem transplants in Little Rock and completing the move we started two years ago. The kids are doing well, with one graduated and one to go. Dave is in CR and thriving in his job and I am picking up the pieces of my life.

Re: Our Story
Thanks Lori for sharing your story. I'm so glad to be able to read about how other people are dealing with myeloma. It really helps. Congratulations to your husband for achieving a complete response. And good job to you for being there with your husband the whole way through. Good luck getting everything back in order. It's good to have people on these forums who have made it to the other side of the tunnel.
