My dad, who has been diagnosed with myeloma broke some bones in his spine. Today, however, he called us from the hospital (we cannot visit him there) and told us he won't have any spine operation. Instead, he will wear a special orthopedic "suit" of sorts.
He was quite glad about this news, but is it actually good news?
He would also be getting treatment for his multiple myeloma, but we do not know what kind of drugs he is going to get.

Dad is home since Thursday, though he is not allowed to walk without the suit. The problem is, he got the suit, but every time he has it on, he feels dizzy and suffocating, the suit is making it hard for him to breathe, he even vomited when he had the suit on, so Mum had to take if off him. As a result, he cannot really leave his bed
