Opening Day

by darnold on Fri Feb 21, 2014 6:54 pm

This week, I bought tickets for the Washington National's opening day. I haven't been to a baseball game in five years. But I feel good, the myeloma is staying quiet, and at least for this year, I'm reclaiming another aspect of my life. Opening day will be a month shy of five year's since my myeloma diagnosis. I think both me and the Nats deserve a good season.

Good for you, darnold! Have fun! I'm a big baseball fan, looking forward to a week's worth of spring training games in AZ beginning Thursday. My adult children will be meeting me out there. Should be fun.

Good luck to you, but bad luck to the Nats since I'm a Phillies fan. :)
