Last year in May I accidentally found out about my MGUS. I am sure every one of you know how frustrating it is at the beginning, I went through a lots of emotions, anger, depression, and finally acceptance,
I just had my 4th run of blood work done and still waiting for my M protein result but surprisingly my IgG is back to normal range. It was 1890 last year, then down to 1760 to 1580 and now 1480! IgA and IgM is also in normal range. My free light chain (kappa, lambda, and ratio) was in a normal range from the beginning, not any kind of proteins in my urine, and M-spike was 1.1 and 1.3 to 1.2 g/dL and now waiting for the result of the latest M spike result!
I also have osteoporosis and get Zometa treatment every 6 months and take 4g curcumin daily plus lots of other supplements. I don't know where this disease is taking me, or what will happen in the future, but I am very happy to have all of you, This forum is like my Bible – I read it every day and it has helped me a lot. Thank you for being there.

Re: One year anniversary!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing the good news! Your situation seems to be somewhat similar to mine. I'm also 48, was diagnosed last year, IgG, and fortunately my IgG count dropped from 2119 to 1865 last time. I'm hoping to see this continue.
Can you share what supplements you are taking?

Re: One year anniversary!
Hi Jon,
I take 4 g of curcumin daily (Dr Best brand), vitamin D, vitamin C, omega 3 with coQ 10, resveratrol, milk thistle, selenium, green tea extract, and also I do Budwig diet twice a week and stop eating meat and very very very minimal animal products, exercise 3 times a week. I am trying very hard to stabilize my MGUS and whatever happens in the future is out of my hand
I am glad your IgG dropped, it's a very good sign. My myeloma specialist says the first year is very important and shows the pattern of the disease. So far so good for both of us
Please let me know what have you done and keep in touch.
