"Wicked" was AWESOME!

I just had to re-post because I realized something last night: Life is Good! When I bought the tickets for my family, I thought I was nuts, but now almost 4 months later, it was worth the wait. Point being, I have stopped allowing myself to think about the future 10-15 years from now, as I may be disappointed. So I have decided to make great plans for things that can happen in 4-6 months. The anticipation is exciting and the benefits are reaped much sooner!

So go out there and buy your tickets to a great life ... NOW!

Heather is right, gardengirl – great advice.

Myeloma became much easier to live with once I stopped worrying about the things I might miss in the future and concentrated on making the most of things I can do now. I think my family are appreciating the change of attitude as well!

I agree. I make 3-6 month plans, including theater and vacation. The only longer term plan I have is seeing my daughter get her doctorate in two years and retiring!!

Wicked was definitely awesome. My daughter and I saw it for my birthday a couple of years ago. Last year, she got us tickets to The Lion King for my birthday. This year, I got us tickets to The Book of Mormon. Hakuna Matata!
