numbers keep going up

i have kappa f lc.i am on carfilzimib,dex and cytoxan.my kappa has gone up to 17000 and my creatinine is up to 5.7.this is my first cycle.should the numbers start going down?

It was 3 cycles before my numbers started to tumble. Response is usually delayed from treatment. Surprised your doc didn't tell you that. Don't worry your numbers will come down. Jerry

I also have light chain only myeloma (kappa restricted). When I started treatment my kappa light chains, like yours, were in the stratosphere (16, 200 mg/l). In several cycles, they were almost normal. Give the treatment time to work. The combo. will chop your disease down soon enough. As Jerry said, they will come down and probably rapidly. Keep us posted.

how was your creatintine,as the flc`s were going up?did they also go up.

Hi Al, my creatinine, GFR, etc. have always remained normal. Hopefully, with treatment, yours will come down.
