IgG normal, but lambda free light chains increasing

by JoJo on Sun May 31, 2015 1:47 am

Hello there,

I am new to this forum. Have had myeloma for 5 years and 2 failed stem cell transplants where my stem cells would not immobilize.

At present my IgG is normal, but my lambda free light chains are now getting up and over the normal. What would this mean – that the myeloma is active again?

Light chains can increase due to many things. I would wait and watch the trend of the light chains and the kappa: lambda ratio.
