no diagnosis yet - FLCs question

by smjustin on Tue Oct 16, 2012 6:59 am

My UPEP and SPEP came back normal, as did my immunglobulin levels and CBC. However, my FLC ratio and FLCs came back abnormal as follows:

Kappa 7.65 (normal)
Lambda 1.25 (low)
Ratio 6.12 (high)

My nephrologist spoke with a hem/onc and no one is concerned about this. However, I've had terrible fatigue for months. I am also incredibly hot and sweaty during the day (not at night) and have incredible back pain. I have other medical issues (fatty liver, Type 2 diabetes, Chronic Kidney disease stage 2), high cholesterol, treated high blood pressure, diastasis recti which could cause back pain, etc.

Is there reason to be concerned with multiple myeloma or amyloidosis with these types of numbers?
