His bone marrow is definitely suppressed and he has been receiving regular transfusions of red blood cells, although now it looks like that is beginning to turn around.
We are adding Revlimid and dexamethasone now, but this was suspended because he recently had his hip replaced as his left femur was fractured at the hip socket. He had been walking around on it for a month believing it was due to some arthritis-related stenosis.
He appears to be doing better now as his bone marrow seems to be coming back to life. We still don't have any answer on whether the doctor believes he is responding to the Darzalex, but the oncologist did say that he didn't think the undetectable light chains were indicative of a response. They are now detectable, but very low.
