2 weeks ago I had a twisting injury of my shoulder. Twisted only, no fall. Orthopedic doctor thought I had a possible rotator cuff tear. MRI showed a non-displaced fracture in the top of the humerus and just below a 2.3 intramedullary lesion with reactive marrow possibly associated with myeloma or metastasis. Recommend a CAT.

They explained that the fracture just may be due to soft bone from the lesion. I was shocked as 3 weeks ago my smoldering labs were stable.

I have a call in to my oncologist. Does anyone have any suggestions or possible information regarding this type of lesion?
