I want to wish everyone a happy healing - that you may be completely healed from myeloma. Put up the fight, exercise regardless of fatigue, keep up the treatment, listen to your favorite music, keep a happy stance. Fight off neuropathy by stretching your ankles and feet, jumping rope (no rope - just jump in place), treadmill walking, dancing to your favorite music, and swimming.
Because of steroids, I have to eat my weight down. I don't want to carry 280 lbs (127 kg) at 6' 6" (1.98 m). I believe swimming 3 days a week has helped to keep my weight down. Before this myeloma attack, my weight was always around 245 lbs. (111 kg). I got it down to 258 lbs (117 kg) from 280 lbs by eating vegetables for breakfast, drinking water in 4 oz cups all day, eating 2 pieces of fruit daily. In the evening, around 8 p.m., I eat a nice dinner. On the weekends, I eat vegetables for breakfast, and a late dinner around 9 p.m. And let me tell you, those vegetables melt in your mouth like a piece of candy - just delicious.

Re: New Year's wishes for all, latest lab results
Hi Powerdrive. Happy new year!
Where are you in the treatment process? Treatment can cause a drop in the heavy chains numbers.
