This week I was diagnosed with myeloma lesions on my liver. They say there are multiple lesions. I had a PET scan, then a CAT scan, and now they want to do an MRI. If they say it is myeloma, I plan to ask for a liver biopsy to verify
Can anyone give me a better sense of what to expect going forward, given these lesions?

Re: Myeloma lesions on the liver: what to expect?
Hi,
When you say "lesions", I'm assuming you mean "plasmacytomas," or tumours made up of myeloma cells (monoclonal plasma cells). Is that correct?
Can you let us know more about what sort of treatment you've had so far, such as what treatment regimens you've had, when, and for how long, including whether you're currently being treated? Knowing what treatments you've had so far will help with assessing what might be your best next option.
Finally, were there any changes in your lab results, such as your free light chain levels or paraprotein (M-spike), before the tumour was found? What caused you to check for a tumour in the first place; where there changes in your liver-related lab results, or physical symptoms?
