Doctor does not seem to be concerned, but I am. Should I seek second opinion?

My Dad died of Amyloidosis. Doctor does not want to see me for another year. I also have been having tingling, and pin pricks in arms, lower extremities, and mouth and tongue. I have lupus, Sjogrens, hypothroidism, MGUS.

Just wondering if it is progressing. Any help would be great.

I think its always worthwhile having at least an initial consult (second opinion) with a top multiple myeloma specialist in your area.

You probably know that Sjorgens can also impact your globulin levels.

Also, IgM-type myeloma is pretty rare.

Have you had a bone marrow biopsy to confirm the MGUS diagnosis yet?

If you don't know where to find a multiple myeloma specialist, just let us know which city you are in and folks on the forum can likely help.
