My beloved husband Joe
I am brokenhearted. My amazing husband lost his battle with myeloma/plasma cell leukemia a few days ago. After the plasma cell diagnosis, in January things went downhill very fast. He had a serene passing at home and for that I am grateful. He will be eternally missed. To you brave myeloma patients and caregivers, keep up the fight. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. If you have suggestions on the best possible organization regarding myeloma research to forward memorial donations, I would appreciate your thoughts.

Re: My beloved husband Joe
My heartfelt sympathy Valerie, it must be a terrible time for you and your family.
I hope that your Husband is in a better place with no more pain.
Focus on the good times and the memories in the interim.

Re: My beloved husband Joe
I am so sorry for your loss, Valerie. I hope that, despite the pain you are feeling now, you will be able to remember and hold on to all the wonderful memories you have of your husband.
Here are recommendations of some organizations you may want to consider passing along memorial contributions to: The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (themmrf.org), The International Myeloma Foundation (myeloma.org), and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (lls.org).
Thank you for thinking of everyone who still has myeloma, or may get myeloma in the future, in the midst of what you have just gone through. It is incredibly kind and thoughtful of you.
