My beautiful Mum passed away on the 17th March, 2014 from multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia and septic shock at the age of 57 after only 5 short months of battling this horrific disease. Unfortunately my mum had no treatment because by the time the doctors figured out what was wrong and diagnosed her, it was already too late.
I love you very much Mum and I am so very proud of your for the courageous and strong fight that you showed right to the very end, never once complaining even though you were in a tremendous amount of pain constantly. It breaks my heart to know I will never see your beautiful smile or hear your beautiful voice or infectious laugh again, but when I held your hand as you took your last breath, I knew that you would no longer have to suffer.
I take comfort in knowing that you did not leave this world alone. My beautiful grandmother, your mum, joined you 4 days later after losing her courageous fight with bone cancer. I know you waited for her and now you can be beautiful angels together.
I miss you terribly and I will always love you and you both will be forever in my heart and my memories.
Love you to the moon and back forever xxx

Dear Kimmie
I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother and am so glad you were with her all the way to the end. Bless you. I, too, just lost my mother to this terrible cancer and take solace in the knowledge that I was by her side the whole way, but boy do I miss her!
My deepest sympathy and prayers to you.
Best,
Kore
