Muscle Issues with MGUS?

by CathyCav on Tue Apr 18, 2017 7:04 pm

Is it common to have muscle issues along with MGUS? Not just fibromyalgia, which I have, but with 'fatty infiltration of muscles', 'muscle edema', and 'early onset of muscle atrophy', as were all stated in a recent MRI of my right calf because of a good sized mass, which thank God turned out to NOT be cancer but an non-encapsulated lipoma. And the fatty areas from THAT are what is infiltrating the muscle. It causes some pain and a crawling sensation in that area.

For all I know, it is happening in other muscles in my body too, but only had the MRI of the calf done because of the mass. My CPK serum levels are also raised, which is seen in muscle issues.
