Hello fellow MM-fighters!
I´m new in this special club and I need your help and insight because I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma Stage IIIa. Some tests results are not final yet, but for example my ß2-microglobuline is 6,4 mg/l (which is a bad sign I presume), my calcium levels and creatinin levels are ok.
Edit: some of my blood test results:
IgG 38,3 g/l
IgA 0,26 g/l
frLK Kappa 1120 mg/l
frLK Lambda < 5,5 mg/l
Albumin 46,8
No results about my bone biopsy yet, but the docs are pretty sure about their diagnosis.
My question is how are people treated when they have multiple myeloma without any symptoms (no backpain etc.) yet?
I´m 70 and english is not my mother tongue, so please excuse some typos etc.
Thanks everyone for your opinions.

Re: multiple myeloma Stage IIIa but no symptoms yet
Well you may not have symptoms, but do you have other myeloma related problems?
In order to be diagnosed you need to meet certain criteria (on top of the M-spike), these include anemia, elevated blood calcium, bone lesions etc. The call it CRAB symptoms
Calcium
Renal
Anemia
Bone
