Multiple myeloma specialists in Vermont?

by countrygirl on Thu Dec 01, 2016 8:59 pm

Hi all,

Are there any multiple myeloma specialists in Vermont?

I just switched oncologists due to my old one not being willing to check my levels every 3 months for the first year. Now my second oncologist is better, but I'm a bit disturbed by the fact that I know more about MGUS than him. He's better, but definitely not someone I would put 100% faith in.

Hi.

The beacon has a list of multiple myeloma treatment centers.

Depending on where you live in Vermont, you should look to the University of Vermont or the Norris Cotton Center at Dartmouth / Hitchcock just across the border in Hanover.

I'm a Dartmouth and DMS graduate, so I'm not unbiased. :).

Good luck.

Hello,

I am being seen at the University of Vermont cancer center, but the doctor assigned to my case doesn't even have myeloma listed in her clinical interests, so I'm trying to find a better choice.
