Hi,
My multiple myeloma specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is no longer practicing. Any suggestions for a new one in the area?
I had a stem cell transplant four years ago and am doing well, but want to see a specialist on a periodic basis.
Thank you.

Re: Myeloma specialist - Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, PA
Hello Anya,
I believe most of the forum members who are in the Harrisburg area go to the Hershey Medical Center, where there is at least one myeloma specialist.
I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions for specialists in Pittsburgh.

Correct. Hershey Medical Center, just outside of Harrisburg, has 2 myeloma specialists.

Re: Myeloma specialist - Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, PA
Hi,
My mom is treated at the Hillman Cancer Center (UPMC) and Arnold Palmer Pavilion in Greensburg. There currently are no myeloma specialists in Pittsburgh. However, Dr Suzanne Lentzsch had been in Pittsburgh and is now in New York City and we went there to see her and my mom's local oncologist collaborates with her as he worked closely with her. She's wonderful. Not sure if that's an option for you or not?

Hi all!
I'm new here, just diagnosed as IgA lambda and had my first bone marrow biopsy yesterday to see exactly what we are looking at.
I'm going to the Hillman Center in Pittsburgh and would like to see a multiple myeloma specialist. Does anyone know of one in the area or near me?
