Multiple myeloma drugs approved in India?

by Ruchi on Fri May 20, 2016 2:39 pm

My mother is currently being treated in India with maintenance Revlimid (lenalidomide) and dexamethasone. She takes 10 mg Revlimid for every 3 weeks on, one week off, and dex 40 mg once every month during the start of cycle. She has been on Revlimid maintenance since 2012.

I wanted to know if anybody knew what other newer multiple myeloma drugs are available in India. After Revlimid and Velcade, what other options for drugs are available in India?

This forum has been a lot of help and thanks again in advance,

Ruchi

It's been a while since I posted this thread and there aren't any replies so I think much information might not be available on this.

Are there any forum members who are being treated in India with drugs other then thalidomide, Revlimid, dex and Velcade? Or what treatment was available / followed after this drugs.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

My mother is being treated in Chennai. Darzalex (daratumumab) can be used if prescribed by the doctor. It has to be brought in from USA though.
