My mother is the one with multiple myeloma. I was wondering if any of you have found a cookbook aimed at people who have this cancer. We are trying to figure out how she should eat. She is 90 years old.
Thanks!

Re: Cookbook for people with multiple myeloma?
I can't name a particular cookbook, but there are a lot of them aimed for cancer. Go to any bookstore or online to Amazon or Barnes and Noble and enter cancer cookbooks. You will get lots of hits.
The recommendations for diets for people with cancer is that they have a well balanced diet with an emphasis on plant based foods. But, it is important that the person get enough protein in their diet. At your mother's age I would suggest letting her eat anything that she will, but keep an eye on whether she is consuming too many carbohydrates.
