Multiple myeloma and CLL

I am curious how often it happens that someone gets both multiple myeloma and CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia), and which typically comes first. Does anyone know?

Hi All;

After my yearly physical I was diagnosed as MGUS last August.

My last bone marrow biopsy shows I am now smoldering.

It also shows I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia / small lymphocytic lymphoma.

My FISH shows I have deletion 17 and 13 as well.

I'm trying to learn more about this combination. Does anyone have any insights in regard to it that might help?

As I am smoldering, I am not under any treatment, I plan to discuss this with my doctor on my next visit.
