Mouth/Tongue Sensitivity

I've been experiencing sensitivity to both my tongue and occasionally the interior of the mouth for the last 6 months. Since my ASCT 3 years ago, I've been sensitive to spicy foods however recently I'm challenged by something as simple as blue cheese dressing. At its worse, I can barely eat a cookie. I've also been told by my dentist that my tooth enamel seems to be breaking down so I don't know if the two are connected. I've had thoughts that perhaps my Revlimid maintenance (10mg daily) is effecting the nerves in my tongue but I just can't get an answer from my specialist, local oncologist or my PCM.

Thoughts?

Please have your doctor check your folic acid and vitamin B12 levels. Vitamin B deficiency can cause a painful tongue.

Furthermore, discuss amyloidosis with your doctor.
