I was diagnosed with MGUS while down at the Scottsdale Mayo for a routine exec work up. I got a call a week later they would like to see me again. I had osteoporosis in the spine, 3.4, osteopenia in the hips etc ... So I went to get answers enlighten them including myself them and get on Fosamax (alendronate).
I do everything, come home, and get another call. Please come down and, when they said oncology hematology, I just knew it was not so good, but must be breasts, right?
So I go in and learn about the MGUS and go home on watch and come back to Scottsdale in October and learn I have two cursors present, leukemia and lymphoma, My ag2 is 4.7. M-spike is 5 percent, and this is very new to me.
I see Dr. Keith Stewart. He has some clinical trials going, so hope I'm a candidate, as I have now have ever had any immune system and I site. Anyone have these two precursors active? Am I high risk or will I be able to grow old like I want to?
