Can MGUS affect how effective Coumadin is?

Hi,

I was diagnosed with MGUS 2 years ago and labs have been stable. I'm having labs drawn tomorrow as it's been 6 months since the last one.

Recently, I was placed on Coumadin (warfarin) for atrial fibrillation and, after 2 weeks on Coumadin, my INR has not risen beyond 1.2. Could this be related to MGUS?

I read somewhere that this can be common with MGUS or multiple myeloma. Anyone have insight?
