Is it safe for MGUS patient to take calcium supplements?

I read contradictory info on whether it is safe for people with MGUS to take calcium supplements. I take daily magnesium (500 mg) but I read magnesium should be taken with calcium, so I'm thinking of switching to a calcium-magnesium (and potassium) formula. My calcium level is 9.3
