M spike

My SPE M-Spike 1 % is 2.6; the SPE M-Spike is 0.18; what does this mean? This is the first time I have seen a percentage on my blood test.

The first part of that is worded in a confusing way. I would ask your oncologist about this. The bottom line is that your M spike is 0.18 g/dL.

Thanks!

Brandy,

What was your M spike at diagnosis or prior to the most recent treatment? Are you on treatment now?

Thanks!

M spike was 4.6; planning stem cell transplant, but without initial chemo... harvest completed..next step is melphalan; then replace with auto stem cells...think this is effective?.
