Re: M spike has gotten higher during treatment - how common?
Update: My doctor had the lab recheck the results. The lab did have an error. My M-spike was actually .3 which I think is good news. My doctor is now going to get in touch with my Seattle doctor about the stem cell transplant.

So, your IgA is now reading greater than 300 mg/dL (it was 214 before, and lower than your M-Spike, which didn't make a lot of sense to me)?

Re: M spike has gotten higher during treatment - how common?
The retest shows my IGA is 214 in the normal range. The IGg is 648 which is low but getting higher with each test. The M-spike on retest is 0.3. The kappa light chains 1.99 which is low and gamma light chains 7.22 in normal range. The ratio kappa/lamda is 0.28 in normal range.
The doctor didn't seem to think any of this seemed out of line.
