I have been treated with myeloma via (Velcade/Revlimid/Dex) for a year. My m-spike has been at 0.1 for about 5 months now. However, on my most recent lab report it stated that 'No Monoclonal protein was present' but still showed a 0.1. Two questions regarding this:
1. Does this mean that there is no m-protein?
2. Would this be considered a complete remission or a VGPR?
I am still on maintenance using limited Velcade and dexamethasone.
Thanks very much.

Re: M-Protein Question
Regarding your M-protein, this number is so small, it is difficult to really quantify in any significant way.
It really doesn’t matter whether you are in a VGPR or complete remission. The point is that you are in excellent remission at this point.
I think we are “splitting hairs” here.
