Investigating some things, and had the serum free light chain test.
Results:
Kappa <0.02 mg/dl (reference 0.26-1.65)
Lambda 1.75 mg/dl (reference 0.57-2.63)
K/L FLC Ratio is <0.01 (reference 0.26-1.65).
Reading and trying to understand if any significance to this. Thank you.

Re: Low kappa free light chain level, normal lambda - meanin
For reference there is a table in Wikilite.com in chapter 26, go to 26.3, that will help answer your question.
Basically if you have a low kappa reading with a normal lambda reading but the ratio is abnormal then the interpretation is monoclonal gammopathy with bone marrow suppression. That does not necessarily mean you have multiple myeloma. It could be MGUS (Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance). Your readings do not strike me as being that far out of the normal range.
The Wikilite table is a general guide and should not be taken as gospel. You need to discuss the results with your physician.
