Re: Low globulins/immunoglobulins
Thank you, Francine. I kind of freaked when they answered the phone, "Oncology." It took me a couple of days to get past that. Hoo boy. I was so not prepared to be looking at the possibilities that are facing me now. I just keep hoping it's something more treatable than MS, but benign. That would be a best case scenario. Does it sound unrealistic?
Re: Low globulins/immunoglobulins
I've never been so happy to have a test come back normal. The quantitative test shows normal antibody levels of all classes, albeit all at the low end of the normal ranges, especially IgG and IgM. No further testing has been recommended at this point.
Do I go with this, or get a second opinion? Follow up with GP in 2 months, and seeing neurologist next week.
Thoughts?
I can't seem to get any answers on what makes antibody levels and blood protein levels drop like this. The only answers I can get are, "It's really nonspecific." Frustrating, considering my body is acting crazy and nobody can tell me why.
