Doing searches and just clicking on various threads in the forums, I get this error all the time the past couple of days:

Is there a setting somewhere I have to change to make this go away?

Re: Lots of errors on the forums
Thanks for the heads up about this error, Snip.
We're having trouble duplicating it. Can you give a specific example of when it happens? That is, describe a specific search that causes the error, including exactly which search box you carry out the search from.
Also, if there is a URL that you click on, and it leads to the error you're describing, please let us know it as well.

Re: Lots of errors on the forums
How to replicate:
Do a search in the "search all forums" box for "curcumin". Click on the second entry in the results page ("The Dark Side of Curcumin? by Multibilly") The error shows up.
I just noticed while testing for this reply that there may be a clue: there is an orangey square icon to the left of the subject line/title of many of the search returns, and those all respond with that error... so maybe it isn't an error?

Never mind... turns out there isn't a direct relationship between the orangey icon and the error... MOST search results actually give that error.

Re: Lots of errors on the forums
Hi Snip,
As best we can tell, this error is probably due to a setting you've changed in your User Control Panel -- specifically, the "Edit Display Options" area under the "Board Preferences" tab.
Most likely, you have changed a setting there to restrict the postings displayed to those within just a few days of the current day.
You can test this, however, by simply logging out and, while you are logged out, doing the same search that previously generated an error. We suspect you won't get an error in that case (because the system won't be using the settings you changed in your User Control Panel.)
See if any of this advice helps and let us know how it goes.
Thanks again for the feedback.

Re: Lots of errors on the forums
Admin/staff: correct on both counts. Thanks for the help!
