Hi everyone,
I've been following this group for a couple of years as my partner, Dan, who later became my husband, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, stage 3, in August 2012.
After lots of chemo, Dan had his transplant, but relapsed after 5 months. Back on chemo, but nothing worked; the myeloma spiraled out of control.
The tumours on Dan's spine paralysed him. I gave up work and cared for Dan's every need. It was very hard watching my Dan waste away from this horrible and painful disease.
I sadly lost my gorgeous husband on Friday, October 17.

Wanda, I am so sorry for your loss. I know from previous posts that you tried so hard to help Dan, and I am sure he must have known and appreciated that. multiple myeloma is so terrible for many, and all we can really hope for are improvements for the future, so that fewer patients will suffer too.
Thanks for sharing, and take good care of yourself.
