Looking for some success stories

My mother has recently relapsed after a six year CR (CyBorD, auto SCT, no maintenance). One of her numbers was rising and they found a mass in her uterus (just one) in February. She's back on the CyBorD. Seems to be responding well with no detectable myeloma in her blood tests. But this extramedullary mass makes me sick to my stomach. Are there any positive success stories of patients who have had an extramedullary relapse and managed to overcome it? Many thanks!!
