Long-term BiRD (Biaxin, Revlimid, dex) therapy

by aerorick on Sun Feb 15, 2015 6:46 pm

Looking for info on taking Biaxin with the Revlimid / dex combination (BiRD regimen).

It is working for me, but how long can you safely take Biaxin?

I have been on the BiRD regimen for nearly three years. No issues. Maybe my situation is unusual, but it took more than 28 months to (slowly but surely) reach CR, which is where I am now. I am now off dex and will probably soon drop clarithromycin and go just to a smaller dose of Revlimid (say 5 to 10 mg) plus curcumin as maintenance.

What concerns you?
