I certainly am not a Dr. but I came to my conclusion on the basis of the test test below combined with FLCA.
"Immunofixation shows IgA monoclonal protein with kappa light chains"

Re: Light chains rising (but no m-spike) - am I relapsing?
I should further elaborate: I have IgG kappa light chain multiple myeloma. My IMMUNOFIXATION test shows a faint IgG kappa band.
However, if you look at total Immunoglobulin test it shows the IgG to be in the normal range. That test, from what I understand, is simply a measure of health of your immune system. Low readings indicate an impairment.
The total immunoglobulin test is not used to determine what type of excess protein is spilling into the blood. That test is the serum or urine immunofixation test.

I would be interested to know if your doctor wants you to start treatment again and if so what would be the protocol.
Good luck and keep on truckin.

Well thats a whole another debacle. Because I am 35, he suggests I think about an Allo but I am beyond hesitant due to the risks.

one of the posters that frequent this site, Mark had an allo and it was very successful for him. You might try searching for some of his posts. They do what is called mini allos that are less risky. I don't know all of the details but Mark would know.
